AL George, MD Alistair opened Canongate Studios in 1997 and has recorded many stars in a career spanning over 30 years, including Sir Sean Connery on “Scotland’s Home Coming” TV ad, Nancy Cartwright (Bart Simpson) for a Christmas release and pop icons such as Iggy Pop and Big Country. He has also worked on flagship BBC TV programmes such as Panorama and Horizon. Hamish Allison, Director Hamish has been directing, shooting and editing the moving image for nearly twenty years, directing commercials for prestigious brands such as Grolsch, Irn-Bru and VisitScotland as well as short films, music videos and TV programmes. Lana Watson, Facilities Manager Lana co-ordinates everyone’s movements within the studio complex, ensuring smooth passage of clients’projects from one process to the next. Claire Deas, Facilities Producer Claire works hand in hand with clients, guiding them through the production process and ensuring quality is maintained at the highest of standards. Gail Cartwright, Floor Manager Gail manages the TV studio. She ensures that all the crew and personnel on and off set have everything they need when and where they need it. Gavin Livingstone, Cameraman/Editor Gavin and Scott both operate the camera, edit and master the videos. They oversee the many technical processes involved in production.
